Farewell for now!

Amy Martin, the pocket rocket of our sales team, will be going on leave from Friday 28 August 2026. Amy, her partner Tom and daughter Piper will be welcoming a new family member in October and we wish them all the best.

Don’t despair though, Steph McKellar and Greg Jackson will be on hand for all things spirit related!

Are you storing packaged Australian wine that you no longer want?

Tarac has a secure area dedicated to disposing of distressed packaged Australian wine (excluding sparkling) in a confidential and environmentally responsible manner.

We accept Australian wine in bottles, cans and bladders - other packaging forms, including bulk, will be considered.

And yes, all packaging is recycled responsibly (a Declaration of Disposal can be issued if required).

Improving your soil - naturally!

Tarac Soil Improver, also known as TPR, is blend of aged grape marc and other production residuals including Calcium Carbonate from ground marble.

What are the benefits of using TPR? They include: building soil carbon; improving soil structure, Microbial life & water holding capacity; improved crop yields; increased profitability; Liming ‘effect’ & year on year compounding benefits.

Applications are many, including broadacre farming, vineyards & orchards.

With the theme ‘Built for your whole distillery’, this year’s conference features regional tours, industry insights and hands-on learning, including 2 Barossa tours which will have you visiting Tarac :

Each ANZAC Day, we pause to reflect, remember and honour the courage, sacrifice and enduring spirit of those who have served our nation.

At Tarac, this day carries deep meaning. Displayed proudly at our head office is a plaque bearing the names of employees who served between 1939 and 1945 - a powerful reminder of the role our own people played during a time of global conflict.

Among them are three who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their bravery, and that of their colleagues, remains an enduring part of our story.

We also remember Tom “Diver” Derrick, whose extraordinary courage earned him both the Victoria Cross and Distinguished Conduct Medal - a legacy still recognised today.

As we reflect, we’re reminded these were not just soldiers, but colleagues, friends, and members of the Tarac community.

We honour all who have served and continue to serve. Their sacrifice, resilience and spirit will never be forgotten.
