A scholarship will be created at a Victorian agricultural college in memory of a young man who died in a farming accident last month.

A motorbike crash on a station near Broken Hill claimed the life of 26-year-old Callum Smail on April 13.

The family has launched a fundraising campaign that will support a scholarship at Longerenong College near Horsham, where Callum spent three years studying agriculture.

Melrose sheep were successful with Champion superfine poll ram, champion fine horn ewe, reserve champion superfine horn ram, reserve champion fine poll ewe and third in the group of three.

Every year we join a portion of Melrose superfine ewes to Depta Grove White Suffocks.
2025 drop Lambs sold last week. Only 1% wastage. 366 Melrose x White Suffock went to Midfields contract av $324 average live weight 60 kg.
27 heavy lambs went to Horsham market $377 average live weight 75 kg.
