We’re looking for a capable and reliable person to join the team at Toowoomba Hay Farm for casual farm work.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety.

𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
* Tractor and machinery operation
* Hay making and handling
* Planting and general crop work
* Shed and yard duties
* General farm maintenance
* Other day-to-day farm tasks as required

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂:
* Previous farming or machinery experience is preferred
* Must hold a current driver’s licence
* Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable with a good work ethic
* Good attention to detail is important

Hours will vary depending on farm operations and seasonal requirements.

If you’re practical, capable and happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing, we’d like to hear from you. This is an 8 week short term contract that may lead to ongoing casual work for the right person.

2,600 Rhodes Grass small square bales available $𝟭𝟰/𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗲

Packed into 21-bale Baron packs.
This dryland Rhodes grass was cut with a mower conditioner and cured in ideal conditions, producing hay with good texture and aroma. There is some natural variability from the contoured country.

The hay sustained some weather damage during relocation but remains suitable for cattle and goats.

Tim, Megan and Steve are looking forward to attending AFIA’s 30th Anniversary Dinner next week.

Feed Central has been an AFIA member for more than 25 years and we want to congratulate the team, members, and current and former Board members on this important milestone.

Our Founder and Director, Tim Ford, has nominated for a term on the AFIA Board, with elections taking place next week. Tim has previously served two terms on the Board and remains passionate about the future of Australia’s fodder industry. He strongly believes AFIA’s greatest potential lies in bringing the industry together to solve the challenges that cannot be addressed by any one person, business, or organisation alone.
