We had the great pleasure of meeting David Buon Ricordo when we were in Italy earlier this year, and we finally made it there last night. Rest in Peace Sam Neill. What a wonderful man and actor. I had the great pleasure of interviewing him a few years ago about “Hunt for the Wilderpeople”. He was so generous with his time and insight.
I remember telling how much we had I common: “he had a winery; I drink a lot of wine…. He was in movies…. I liked watching movies..” He had a great sense of humour and an amazing presence about him. He even became an honorary GIANTS supporter! (Perhaps the only one from the Eastern suburbs!)
Here’s to a great man and an amazing career 🙏🏻 🕊️
