My Miss Bertha has gone broody again, after raising 7 mixed breed babies hatched in Oct!! She’s a great Mumma so I’d love to find some fertile pure Australorp eggs to give her this time round.

Oofff! Already 32 here at 10:30am - and it’s set to get to 37/38 today. Record highest temp of 38 back was in 2017, and the UV is already scorching at our high altitude.

All animal water troughs and buckets are cleaned and filled with cold water, cool soil areas are getting dampened for our doggo, veggies rows heavily mulched and watered, with misters set to go off in the grow tunnel shortly 🥵 No air con here, so it’s fans inside for me 🙏🏻

Hope everyone stays cool - my new rocket, swede and beetroot seedlings have already crisped up and died 😭

PS, I did get some fresh sourdough muffins baked first thing!!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas! 🎄🤶🎄

I baked a white chocolate and raspberry loaf forr breakfast (farm grown berries of course!), along with apple & cinnamon foccacia to go with our roast tukey lunch 💕 so good!

… and yummy Choc Chip cookies for snacks!

Some extra loaves of white sourdough and a buttermilk sourdough out for the afternoon 🙂Enjoy!
