๐Œ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐„๐œ๐ก๐ข๐๐ง๐š!

One of our favourites here at Snug Farm โ€” the short-beaked echidna (๐‘ป๐’‚๐’„๐’‰๐’š๐’ˆ๐’๐’๐’”๐’”๐’–๐’” ๐’‚๐’„๐’–๐’๐’†๐’‚๐’•๐’–๐’”), one of Australiaโ€™s most distinctive native mammals.

August is breeding season for echidnas, so perhaps this little visitor was out looking for love! During this time, males can form remarkable โ€œtrainsโ€, following a female nose-to-tail.


Weโ€™re celebrating the incredible diversity and richness of the natural world here at Snug Farm, and the wonderful wildlife weโ€™re lucky enough to share this special place with.

Through ๐–๐ก๐จ'๐ฌ ๐€๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐’๐ง๐ฎ๐  ๐…๐š๐ซ๐ฆ?, weโ€™ll be introducing some of the wildlife that shares this special place with us.

Here at Snug Farm, weโ€™re guided by regenerative and permaculture principles, working with nature to create a diverse and thriving environment where all can flourish.
