Blue Dog Farm harnesses the best of mother nature and brings deliciousness to the tables of homes and restaurants across Queensland. It’s where our founder Jacki Hinchley and our dedicated team of passionate farmers nurture the land and harvest our Really Fancy Salad and Really Good Beef. Our salad mix combines 10-14 leaves, flower petals and microgreens all grown on Blue Dog Farm. There’s nothing else quite like it. Really Good Beef. Our fresh, healthy pastures and the care we take not only makes our beef good, they make it delicious! It’s farming… but not as you know it. At Blue Dog Farm, we’re passionate about biodynamics, nutrition farming and regenerative farming. We do things differently and we couldn’t be prouder of the positive impact we’re having on people’s passion for good food, and on the planet. Blue Dog Farm is a small market garden growing fresh produce naturally. We grow from locally sourced seed that is organic, open pollinated and often heirloom. We don’t use artificial pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers, just lots of compost! We tend the garden entirely by hand – the bed preparation, the sowing, the weeding, the harvesting and the compost making! Throughout the year, we take one bed at a time out of the cycle to rest and restore the balance of the soil. We are equally as attentive with our beef cattle selection and breeding. We not only focus on deliciousness, we’re precise in our management of the land. As the current custodians, we consider it our responsibility to maximise the good effect we have for future generations.

REKO is proof that when communities come together, amazing things happen — supporting local producers, building relationships, and enjoying fresh, made-to-order food. 🙌🏼

Did you know?
REKO Australia is a not-for-profit, where producers and makers - be that fresh produce, skincare, cheese, local chef prepared meals, eggs, meat, baked goods - advertise what they have available to purchase at the weekly pick-up … direct to their local community, without the middlemen.

It is run by volunteer locals for locals featuring fresh produce from the immediate region and re-establishing a real connection between the consumer and the farmer or maker.
