Magnum Park Magnum Park: Home of Group 1 Winning Stallion LEVENDI πŸ† Proudly presenting yearlings at Magic Millions Tasmania 2025. Shaping legends, one stride at a time.

Strength. Speed. Stamina. Spirit. πŸ‡ Magnum Park was established in 1988 by Charles and Connie Beadman as a family hobby stemming from a keen interest and following of horse racing over many years. A hobby which turned into a lifetime of enthusiasm and experience in harness racing and breeding. Our first harness horse being Thomas Magnum (by Magnum Almahurst out of Kajiki) going on to become a G1 T

asmanian Pacing Championship winner in 1992. Over the years we have been fortunate to have had achievement with many great winners. In later years, the opportunity arose to venture into Thoroughbred racing and breeding. Our first galloper was Appmat (by Matsqui out of Apaiser) who went on to win the Brighton Cup and a valiant effort for 3rd in the Hobart Cup. Having had much success with breeding pacers over the years, now in 2021, our exciting new venture begins with thoroughbred stallion Levendi (by Pierro out of Lipari) with a G1 win of the Australian Derby amongst his successes. When Levendi came up for auction we jumped at the opportunity of purchasing him for a sire. With a sire line including Sir Tristram, Zabeel, Octagonal, Lonhro, Pierro who are all proven stallions and have been victorious at stud, Levendi is set to follow suit and we are excited to see the progeny he will produce. Levendi will stand his first season at Broadmarsh Stud in united partnership with Magnum Park acting as a feeder farm and agistment for the enterprise.

A little project we've been quietly working on...

Over the past few weeks, we've been busy rebuilding the Magnum Park website from the ground up.

The goal was simple: create a place where breeders, owners and racing enthusiasts can easily learn more about our horses, our story and the future direction of Magnum Park.

The site now features:
🐎 Our stallions
πŸ“° News and updates
πŸ“– Our story
πŸ“± Improved mobile experience
πŸ“§ Easy enquiry options

There's always more to do, but we're proud of how it's coming together.

We'd love for you to take a look.

As always, feedback is welcome.

πŸ”₯ The only Tasmanian stallion on the list. πŸ”₯

Statistics don't tell the whole story, but they can tell an important part of it.

We were delighted to see Sizzling featured by Breednet among Australia's Top 20 Stallions by Winners to Runners for stallions standing at a service fee of $33,000 or less.

πŸ“Š 66% Winners to Runners

Even more pleasing, Sizzling is the only stallion currently standing in Tasmania to feature on the list.

To be listed alongside stallions such as Pierro, Nicconi, Russian Revolution, Smart Missile, Brazen Beau and All Too Hard is tremendous company to keep.

πŸ† 215 individual winners
πŸ† More than $20 million in progeny earnings
πŸ† Proven sire performance

The numbers are impressive, but what has impressed us most since his arrival is the horse himself.

We're proud to see Sizzling representing Tasmania on a national stage.

Thank you to Breednet for the recognition.

Behind every great horse is a story. πŸ‡

This wonderful feature from Thoroughbreds Are Go follows Admirelle, the dam of Group 1-winning 2YO and proven sire Sizzling, as part of their "Where Are They Now?" series.

It's a fantastic reminder of the mares and families that help shape our thoroughbred industry, and we're delighted to see Sizzling's dam recognised in this way.

Thank you to Thoroughbreds Are Go and Caroline Searcy for sharing her story.

πŸ”₯πŸ‡ PROVEN GROUP 1 SON OF SNITZEL, SIZZLING, TO STAND AT MAGNUM PARK IN TASMANIA πŸ‡πŸ”₯

Magnum Park is proud to announce that proven Group 1-winning stallion SIZZLING will stand in Tasmania for the upcoming breeding season.

A brilliant 2YO and Group 1-winning son of champion sire Snitzel from the General Nediym mare Admirelle, Sizzling brings elite Australian speed, proven performance and outstanding presence to the Tasmanian breeding industry.

Sizzling was one of the standout juveniles of his generation, winning the Group 1 BRC TJ Smith Stakes at two, along with the Group 2 Champagne Classic and Group 2 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes, before later adding the Group 2 Queensland Guineas to his record.

He retired with seven wins, more than $1.3 million in prizemoney, and has since established himself as a proven source of winners at stud, producing over 215 individual winners and more than $20 million in progeny earnings.

Sizzling’s record at stud continues to receive national recognition. Recent Breednet statistics ranked him among Australia’s Top 20 Stallions in 2026 by winners-to-runners ratio for stallions standing at a service fee of $33,000 or less, with Sizzling the only stallion currently standing in Tasmania to feature on the list.

For Magnum Park’s Alexis Beadman, the opportunity to welcome Sizzling from New South Wales to Tasmania represents an exciting new chapter for both the horse and the farm.

β€œSizzling is a horse we have admired for a long time,” Beadman said. β€œHe was an outstanding racehorse with genuine speed, toughness and presence, and we feel he offers something very exciting for Tasmanian breeders.”

β€œWhat really stood out to us was not only his race record and sire power, but also the type of horse he is physically. He has great strength, quality and athleticism, along with a beautiful temperament, and he has settled in wonderfully here at Magnum Park.”

β€œWe’re incredibly excited to continue his journey here in Tasmania and look forward to introducing him to breeders throughout the upcoming season.”

The announcement continues Magnum Park’s growing commitment to developing a strong and progressive stallion roster within Tasmania, while providing breeders access to proven Australian bloodlines.

Further details regarding Sizzling’s upcoming season, including service fee and booking information, will be released shortly.
