Ross Hill Wines is a family run operation established in 1994 by Peter and Terri Robson with son James and his wife Chrissy now taking the helm. It is the first Australian winery to be certified under the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Program. The two vineyards, Wallace Lane & Griffin Road, are planted in mature basalt soils at high altitudes that carry through into the wines. Varieties planted in

clude Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Our Cellar Door is located at the end of Wallace Lane in the cool climate region of Orange in the Central West of NSW. Here, in an old, converted apple packing shed, you’ll find the award winning winemakers hard at work. Come and meet our friendly team who will take you on the Ross Hill journey. Stop by sometime.

With only 4 seats left, this intimate evening will bring together a seasonal multi course menu, these stunning Sydney Harbour views and a selection of Ross Hill wines personally presented by James.

Hosted alongside Altitude's Head of Wine, Shun Eto, guests will hear the stories behind the wines, the Orange wine region and what makes it a drop above.

This Friday we’re giving a shout out to one of Orange's newest restaurants, Monty’s.

is all about big flavour without the fuss. The kitchen team works with seasonal local produce and keeps things simple, letting the ingredients speak for themselves. Choosing what to eat here is genuinely the hardest part.

It feels like the kind of place where lunch might turn into dinner without anyone noticing. The wine is flowing, the food keeps coming and the conversation keeps going.

From budburst in spring and full canopies in summer, through to harvest and the colourful leaves of autumn, every season plays its part in shaping the wines in your glass.

Right now, the vines are slowing down after vintage, preparing for the cooler months ahead before pruning begins and the cycle starts all over again 🍂
