This beautiful little echidna took a wander. We got one photo before she vanished back into the undergrowth. Might just frame it! 🖼️

With cherry season almost here, there's no better time to get reacquainted! Cherry-picking dates on the estate are coming very soon - we'll let you know the second the trees say go 🍒 In the meantime, meet our famous Cherry Port. It starts with cherries grown on here, then turns into a rich, fortified, port-style pour built for dark, intense cherry flavour.

Spring visitor alert! An emu strolled through the estate this week - like he owns the place! And we sorta love that energy 😍 To the Wiradjuri people, the emu carries significance here - Gugurmin, the Emu in the Sky, a constellation traced not in stars but in the dark spaces between them, tracking the seasons for tens of thousands of years.

We're taking this as an auspicious sign 🍇

We're a FINALIST at the 2026 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence 🍷 What an absolute honour!

As some of you know, we lost Sisters Rock Restaurant to fire. It was devastating. That restaurant was years of work, and watching it go was one of the hardest things this estate has been through.

But we're rebuilding - and we hope you all come and visit us when we're finished so we can continue serving excellence xx

"The Hidden Stash" - Heritage Apple C***r 🍎 🍏
Two hundred-odd heritage apple varieties growing on this mountain - half of them chance seedlings, named after royalty, regions, or their own strange little quirks. We tree-ripen every one for a depth of character. The season runs summer through early winter - and when the orchard hits its peak, you can come pick your own!

Musings from the Mount - 'High Ground'
Up here the mountain keeps its own accounts
No forecast, no forgiveness, just basalt and time
The vines don't ask permission to take root
Blossoms come in like a rumour everyone swears they saw first
Kangaroos cut through at dusk like they own the deed
Truffles keep their own kind of faith, black and patient underground
We hand-prune, we wait, we don't rush the fruit
The dirt doesn't lie, the w**e tells the truth
And the land, God love it, runs the whole damn show
