We're delighted to have Jay Byrnes, acclaimed Australian saxophonist, perfom at our Winter Solstice event on Saturday, 20 June. This event will commence around the fire pit with wine and nibbles and then move into the warmth of the Barn for a warming, hearty meal where we'll be entertained by Jay with vignettes of various genres.
This will be an evening like a gathering of good friends and family, fabulous music and delightful food and wine.

This Mothers Day, we’re shinning the spotlight on the wonderful Derice McDonald - Co-owner, Marketing and Events Manager, creator of the best grazing platters known to humankind, gardener, and steady hand that shapes a beautiful, welcoming home and workplace. Oh, and she’s also Mum to three... including our winemaker, Tom McDonald, and Matthew and Emma.
For over 33 year’s, Derice and her husband, Ross, have poured their hearts into Macquariedale Organic Wines. And while most mums might be putting their feet up today, Derice - in her true fashion - will be working, just like every other Mother’s Day and every other Sunday. You may catch glimpses of her in the Cellar Door, but trust us, she’s never far away. She’s the quiet engine behind the scenes, ensuring operations run seamlessly and every guest feels genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive to the moment they wander out smiling.
Her discipline, vision, and unwavering dedication to the land and to our community are remarkable. Because of her, our wines - and our world - are better.
Today, we celebrate Derice, and we celebrate all the mums who give so much of themselves. From the whole team at Macquariedale, thank you. You make the world richer, kinder, and infinitely more delicious.

Spending time with your mum (surrogate mum, the one who's like a mum, or mums taking time out) can be the greatest gift. Or gifting an experience where she gets to take time out from an often busy schedule. This Sunday, we will have a special "Mothers Day Platter," including a glass of Sparkling Blanc de Blanc or Pet Nat Rose, and sweet treats.

FORAGE & FEAST, Saturday 16 May 🍄
This is a fabulous event where you learn about mushrooms from local expert Robbie Robinson as you wander Macquariedale's property foraging for wild mushrooms and enjoying the beauty of nature.
A 2 course lunch, including a glass of wine, will be created by Nana, Robbie's Japanese partner.
Orange's autumn beauty will be in full display at Macquariedale, adding to the enjoyment of this event.

A very Happy Easter... we hope it was a beautiful weekend, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying what's important to you.
Long weekends are a wonderful time to enjoy delicious food and wine and at Easter eating lots of chocolate.
