Happy Easter from the team at Taylex 🐰🌿

As we head into the long weekend, it’s a great time to slow down, spend time with family, and enjoy a well-earned break.

A couple of reminders over the Easter period:
• Be mindful of your system if you’ve got guests staying
• Spread out water usage where possible
• Avoid putting anything down the drain that shouldn’t be there
• If in doubt, give your system a bit of a break

Our office will be closed from Friday 3rd April and we’ll be back in business Tuesday 7th April.

Here’s what’s changing across Australia right now and what you should be looking out for 👇

Stricter compliance is coming 📋
Councils are tightening regulations. If your system isn’t up to standard, you could be forced to upgrade, especially when selling or renovating.

Weather is exposing weak systems 🌧
Flooding and heavy rain are causing major failures in old septic setups. If your system can’t handle saturated ground, it’s a ticking time bomb.

Traditional septics are being phased out 💧
Modern treatment systems are becoming the new standard. Cleaner, more efficient, and better for the environment.

Maintenance is cheaper than replacement 🛠
Ignoring your system can cost tens of thousands. Regular servicing is the difference between a small fix and a major failure.

Off-grid living is booming 🌱
More people are moving to acreage and rural properties which means more demand for reliable wastewater solutions.
