Most will know it, but just for clarity, please note that our winery did its last vintage a few years ago, and with the sale of wine stocks has now ceased operation.
Planting wine grapes in 1978 and beginning to vinify wines for our own label in 1992, my parents, Cyril and Jan Ciavarella, worked tirelessly to establish a winery based on quality wines produced by hand in the true sense. I was fortunate to be able to join them in the business for some years, and am grateful to them for that opportunity, and all that it gave me. Life's events lead to the decision that the winery would not continue.
We are grateful for the support given to us by our customers over more than 25 years. Many of you became our friends. The enthusiasm you showed for our wines was most rewarding and appreciated.
We wish you well and hope that if you have a bottle or two of ours in your cellar or wine rack, that you will enjoy its opening and that it will bring satisfaction to your table. In every bottle, there is a story, a memory and a chance for sharing.
