Order your fruit and veggies for the week! 🥦🍌

Sunday is the one day of the week where our online shops are open for all of our markets to place an order for your fruit and/or veggie box. After that each online shop will close throughout the week at 5pm on the day before each market

If you haven’t placed a box order with us before, you can head to the link below for extra information, and if this isn’t your first time, you’ll already know how much fruit & veg gets lovingly packed into your orders! 🫶

We have a new CEO! 🤩

We’re excited to announce Huong Truong as our new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding the wonderful Georgia Savage!🤝

Huong brings more than 20 years of leadership experience. We’re thrilled to welcome someone whose decades of work align so closely with TCG’s values of social justice, inclusion, and community care.

Georgia has led us through some incredible achievements in the last 3.5 years. Having increased our number of weekly markets from 2 to 7, and developed new initiatives that have made us a stronger organisation.

We’re thrilled that she’ll remain a core part of our team as Impact Manager!😍

Tomorrow, and every Thursday, you can find us at 6B Henry St in Pakenham form 8:30am-12:30pm

We'll have heaps of fresh, affordable, seasonal produce for you to choose from, including citrus, and soup veggies! 🌰🍊🧅
And keeping on theme with the seasons, you'll be able to stay cosy while you shop, as we'll be heading indoors again this week. ⛄

Chestnut season is upon us! 🌰

If you've ever felt intimidated by this delicious nut or feel too short on time and energy to be able to enjoy them, we have some great news for you!

It involves some chestnuts, a microwave, a microwave safe container, and you enjoying a warm, seasonal treat! 🐿

Did you know you can cook chestnuts in the microwave?!?
Just slice them in half and microwave for between 2-5 minutes.
5 chestnuts will only take about 2 minutes to cook!
You can even add a moist towel on top for a more steamed nut.

Our 2025 Impact Report is here! 🥳

It was a huge year for us, made possible with the help of our incredible community!

We launched two whole new markets in Richmond and Melton, and Richmond went on to win the 2025 Community Initiative of the Year Award from City Council!

We generated over 2,000 Grocer Gift Cards, serving up a nutritious, choice-based alternative to traditional food relief.

🤩We had 102 amazing volunteers of different ages and cultural backgrounds help us out with market operations, laughter and smiles!

🧆We had 18 different stallholders join us at our markets and help make them into the vibrant community hubs that they are.

🌱And we sourced 16% of our produce directly from local growers who prioritise sustainable, regenerative, and community-focused farming practices, including Mount Prospect Produce, Burd Eggs Australia, Shepherd's Orchard and Aintree Community Garden 💚

Thanks again to our spectacular volunteers, partners, supporters and wonderful customers.💚
