Becoming a butcher isn’t something you learn overnight. It takes years of training, patience, practice and a genuine passion for the craft.

To us, butchery is more than just a skill… it’s an art.

❄️Thank goodness for slow cooker meals! 🍲
They’re an absolute lifesaver when life gets busy. After a long day, it’s hard to beat walking through the door knowing dinner is already sorted. 👏

With these cooler days, comfort food just hits differently. There’s something about a warm, hearty meal that warms you up and makes everything feel a little better.

One of my favourites is Curried Sausages. It might not win any beauty contests, but it’s always satisfying and full of flavour! 😋

My Simple Slow Cooker Curried Sausages

🧅 2 Brown Onions
🧄 2 tsp Crushed Garlic
🥕 2 Medium Carrots
🌭 9 Thick Beef Sausages
🥄 1 tbsp Curry Powder
🥣 4 Cups Chicken Stock
🌽 1 Cup Frozen Peas & Corn
🥄 2 tbsp Cornflour (mixed with a little water to thicken at the end)

Pop everything except the cornflour into the slow cooker and cook on Low for 6-8 hours. Stir through the cornflour mixture at the end until the sauce thickens.

Feel free to make it your own by adding potatoes, cauliflower, cream or coconut cream.

I love using our thick beef sausages, but pork sausages work just as well.

Had it again last night… and it definitely didn’t disappoint! 🤤
