SELLING THIS THURSDAY 19th OF JUNE
LOTS 71 to 80 from Grantley and Torlea

We’ve had to make the hard decision to move these girls on. With the drought in SA, and relying on other dairies to milk them for us we just sadly have too many to be able to keep them all. These individuals offered are some of our very best. 3 Jewels are being offered, a family that everyone who knows me well will know how much they mean to me. The twins (lot 74 and 75) have been extremely hard to part with, they are springing up ready to get to work, they have awesome frames and are just brimming with potential. They are sired by Davinci and out of an 88 point Samite, arguably my best uddered cow who’s last lactation reached over 17,000L in 305 days. Also selling as lot 79 is one of my sweet polled Amaethon heifers out of Unstopabull Opala who, along with Apple Dancer dam of lot 77, will be seeing the classifier again very soon. This is an opportunity not to be missed for anyone looking for an exciting new addition to the herd. Stay tuned to see some photos of family members 😍

4th Place 3 yr old - Semex-Holstein Australia SA on farm challenge 2024 with 36 entries in the class!
I am incredibly proud of Opal placing so well in such a big class of high quality animals, i’m super excited with how she’s developing she keeps getting better and better with age. This year i also found out by accident that Radio Opal is actually a RED CARRIER! She had a red bull calf by Supertype RC this year, she is a Radio x Artist x VG87 Brawler x Grantley Talent Opal EX91-2E, the red gene has been there all those generations without me knowing - maybe it’s time to start genomic testing 😂 The Opals go back to the Blaweary Butterkorn family from WA, they’ve been a great family to be able to work with and i’m super thankful to my Dad of Grantley Holsteins for giving me the opportunity!
