GROWING YOUR OWN VEGGIES AND HERBS - Now is the Time.

Now is the perfect time to grow your own heirloom veggies and herbs and get started in becoming really sufficient.

Check out this months selection of beautiful healthy veggie and herbs seedlings that I will have for you at Witta Market this Saturday.

WATERMELONS and PUMPKINS FOR CHRISTMAS ...

There is nothing better than a Christmas watermelon. Fair Dinkum!

If you want to have watermelons or pumpkins ready to pick for Christmas time then NOW is the time to bang those seedlings in the ground and watch them go go go!

Full sun, plenty of regular water and a regular feed and you can't go wrong. If you want to ensure setting of the fruit to get the best production then I highly recommend grabbing the male flowers from the plant and fertilising the female flowers.

If you want to get the best pumpkin and watermelon seedlings on the coast, then catch me this Saturday 17th October at the Witta Market , along with a thousand other heirloom veggie and herb seedlings.

HOW HOT DO YOU LIKE IT?

One of the more interesting seedlings I grow are chillis,... lots of chillis. We have a huge chilli community in Queensland and I am constantly bringing new heirloom types on.

Cayenne Pepper, Anaheim, Serrano, Thai, Scotch Bonnet, Tepin, Birds Eye, Choc Bhutlah, Carolina Reaper ... just to name a few.

For all you guys and girls that love chillis, catch me at the Witta Market on the 17th October and 21st November where I will have a large variety for you to choose from.

DID SOMEONE SAY ROSELLA ...

It's looking a lot like Rosella time of the year again! Now is the time to get your beds ready to plant some beautiful rosella seedlings.

If you water and feed your plants, you can get three harvests off one plant to make your jams, cordial, tea and many more more delicious recipes.

You can get your beautiful rosella seedlings at the next Witta Market on the 17th October where I will have a ton of rosellas along with a truckload of heirloom veggie and herb seedlings to pick from.

WE"RE BACK - AND IT'S BEAN SEASON

After a little break to recharge in July, and sourcing some new heirloom seeds, we are back at the Witta Market this Saturday.

I will have a massive range of new season heirloom veggies including 5 varieties of beans, late season Peas, Lettuces, Spring Onions, Tomatoes, Zuchinni, Cucumber and much much more .... ,

But wait, there's more ....... We will have a great range of herbs on the tables for you to also pick from.

All heirloom and all fussed upon and nurtured for you, grown right here in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

IT'S CAULIFLOWER AND BROCCOLI SEASON and BRUSSELS SPROUTS .....

Now is the time to get those Autumn and Winter veggies in the garden.

Tomorrow at Witta Market I will have a smorgasboard of heirloom veggies and herbs to go.

3 different types of Cauliflowers, along with 5 different types of Broccoli will be on the tables.

The biggest range available anywhere on the coast.

Of course I will also have multiple varieties of Peas, Spring Onions, Spinaches, Tomatoes, Bok Choi,, Lettuces, Brussels Sprouts, Radicchio, Radish, Rocket, and all of your seasonal veggie seedlings.

Now that's just the veggie seedlings. A huge range of new season heirloom herbs will reward those who get there early.
