🐮✨ ADELAIDE SHOW 2026 — STEER WEEK! ✨🐮
Who’s Your Daddy W075 our Hereford cross steer certainly made an entrance! 👀
🏅4th in his class of Crossbred Heavy Domestic Steers
🏆 10th on the hook in a class of 32 steers
For our first crack at a show steer, I honestly couldn’t be prouder of the result. The weight gain in this steer was incredible, averaging 2.1kg/day.
Dam: Karmoola Hurricane Q009 🌪️ (Hereford)
Sire: Maybe Brentvale Nitro N13 (Limousin) or Malseed’s Rockstar U004 (Angus)- we will never know, hence the name…
And this one came with a pretty special team behind him.
A massive thank you to Duane from Eclipse Cattle Services for taking the steers up and looking after them while I was in hospital. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you! 🫶🏼
And then there’s my little sister, Haylee… 🥹❤️
She stepped into the ring with Daddy and paraded him absolutely perfectly — and, annoyingly, I think she did it better than I would have! 😂👏🏼 Couldn’t be prouder of you, Haylee.
First show steer. One very proud breeder. The Hereford influence is clearly still relevant 🥩
Not a bad first go… 😉🐮🔥
