We reckon most things in life are better when they’re shared. At our place, that’s done over the table - loaded with backyard produce, a bottle or two of good wine and surrounded by family and friends. It might be our Greek heritage that inspired us to work the land. Since leaving more than 60 years ago Chris, with his wife Fran, has worked the Terra Rossa soils of Coonawarra, growing tomatoes, lettuces and strawberries before Steven joined his parents in the family business, together planting vines in 1990. Our two sites feature both the young and the old; regional classics Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot along with Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. Through the winter months, the vines share our land with a small trip of goats who maintain the rows, doing their bit to contribute to our micro-climate.

2 lemon trees, 20 apple trees, 300 strawberry plants, 200 bushes of oregano and whatever else Chris has decided to grow on any given day, share the space with our cellar door. Come visit us and you might chance upon Chris offering up the backyard’s latest bounty or you’ll find us, Steven and Emma Raidis, at the table, glass in hand, ready to share a story or two.

Meet some of the hardest workers at Raidis Estate!

They might be ridiculously cute, a little cheeky and always looking for a snack, but our Raidis goats have a pretty important job to do!

Our four-legged friends play a part in our sustainable farming practices, helping to naturally manage the weeds and vegetation around the property, fertilising our soils and minimising our impact on the environment.

They're part of the Raidis family, and we reckon they have some of the biggest personalities on the estate!

🌱 A new season begins…

Spring has arrived in the Coonawarra w**e region, and with it comes one of our favourite sights in the vineyard - bud burst.

The Cheeky Goat Pinot Gris is among the first to wake up, with fresh green shoots marking the beginning of another growing season.

The days are getting longer, the sunshine a little warmer, and the vineyards are slowly coming back to life.

There’s something pretty special about this time of year. New growth, new beginnings and the first glimpse of what Vintage 2027 might bring.

MY BIG FAT GREEK PARTY IS BACK!

Get the crew together because we're bringing a little taste of Greece to Coonawarra this October with big flavours, live music, dancing and plenty of OPA!

We'll be serving up a Greek inspired feast before Sizmos gets the party started with live Greek music. Then it's time to hit the dance floor, smash a few plates and embrace all the fun of a proper Greek celebration.

And yes... we want you to dress the part! There'll be a Best Greek Costume Competition, so don't hold back.

And if you're coming from Mount Gambier? We've got you sorted!
A bus will be running from Mount Gambier to Raidis and back again, so you can enjoy the night without worrying about the drive home.
