We knew G-Flip had great taste long before Bed on Fire — they were sipping our A Song For Alice Riesling to prove it. 🎶🍷

I guess we have a new big fan of our Song for Alice, I mean.. G-Flip Riesling? 🤩

We are huge G-Flip fans in our office, so to hear that they were heading to One Night Stand in Warrnambool had us absolutely buzzing and even MORE so seeing them hold a bottle of our very own Song for Alice in their hot little hands! 😱

We hope you loved our Coonawarra Riesling as much as we love you, G! 🥂

The portion of wine that quietly evaporates from the barrel as it ages - winemakers call that the angels' share. We figured what was left was their gift to us. So our first wines were named Ambriel's Gift and Ezra's Gift.

Over time, the names found their way to the people closest to us.

Lucy and Alice, who grew up playing amongst these vines on the same Reschke family property where Dru himself grew up. Emily May, Dru's grandmother, who lived on this property until she was 99 - dressmaker, bridge champion, floral artist, and formidable in the best possible way. Peter Douglas, our winemaker, who refused to blend his best barrels and was right every time.

Every label has a person behind it. Every person has a story we carry with us.

That's always been the heart of what we make here.

We weren't sure what to expect when we shared our news.

What came back filled our hearts completely. The messages, the memories, the generosity of people who took a moment to say something kind - it meant more than we can properly put into words.

As we consolidate our range and turn our focus to Koonara and our next business venture, knowing our followers are behind us makes everything feel lighter.

Our organically grown Cabernet and Shiraz will continue, and most of our whites are still available too — so there's plenty of Koonara to enjoy.

Lucy & Alice Pinot Gris - named after our two daughters who, much like this wine, pack a lot of personality into a small package.

Intense fresh pear on the nose, crisp green apple and a hint of peach on the palate, with a soft clean finish that has you reaching for another glass. Vegan-friendly, low in sulphur and residual sugar - all the flavour, none of the morning-after regrets.
