I've picked up two barrel-aged beauties from Panther Cream, both coming in at a warming 12% ABV.
🥃 M/River P/Cream Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (12%) 375ml
This is a classic winter sipper. Deep black in the glass with a rich, creamy body, it delivers layers of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, toffee, and molasses. Time spent in whisky barrels adds warming notes of vanilla, oak, caramel, and subtle spice, creating a beautifully complex stout that's made to be savoured slowly by the fire. Bold, smooth, and wonderfully decadent.

A more adventurous take on the style. The whisky barrel ageing provides the same luxurious foundation of oak, vanilla, and warming spirit character, while the coffee brings intense roasted aromas and espresso-like depth. The blueberry adds a vibrant layer of dark berry sweetness and tartness that complements the roasted malts surprisingly well. The result is a rich, dessert-like stout with a balance of fruit, coffee, chocolate, and whisky complexity.
