It has been weeks, feel like a century has passed. How is everyone doing? We miss our little cafe, we miss our interaction with all our lovely customers, little smiles or waves through the window at local residents that passed our shop. But I’ve been lucky to be in the kitchen again….this time is abit different…I was honoured to be at the ‘we’ve got your back Guildford quiz’s night’ last night. Hosted by local community radio station Radio VCA 88.5FM.

Where the Guildford locals came together for a fundraising event to show support to businesses that affected by the fire on Christmas night. It was great to see so many familiar faces and to meet some new faces 🥰.

I was lucky enough to cooked up some simple but hearty Vietnamese dishes for them. Thank you for having me and giving Little A’s a chance to be in the kitchen again…a small step to be on our feet again is a BIG step.

Thank you all so much for those who are behind the event…to everyone that showed up to show your supports, and to two Little A’s lovely staffs that gave up your time to lend me a hand in the kitchen last night. Little A’s Cafe is so loved and we are working hard to be back very soon xx till then, I’ll keep you all updates 🙏

New Year is approaching, Little A’s would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year, may the New Year be a better year for all of us.
Our only resolution is to stay truly to who we are and stay focus why we have Little A’s in the first place, delivery good foods, good drinks, good service if we can return 💪

We’d like to take this opportunity to thanks each and everyone here for the last few days, you really rallying behind to support us where you can, shares, posts, comments and messages. Giving us extra hands during this difficult time.

Thanks to all our neighbours, regardless of you’ve been through the hardship yourselves.
- Maurice from Basic Elements for helping us with the fencing to secure our front.
- Phil from Dr Russel Imaginarium, Darrel from Curio Warehouse, Xavier from Retro Finds to helped us to put up a secure door to protect our shop.
- Jay from Imagine That to took my girl in her shop while we busied cleaning up.

Thank you to all our local residents far and near and all around Perth to helped us set up, donated to our gofundme. Reaching out to offered helping hands (labouring, cleaning, babysits etc). You know who you are 🥰

These little survivors of the James Street Fire want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Despite their harrowing Christmas experience, somehow they still manage a smile. Surely this hints that 2022 will be something to look forward to.
Thank you for all the help and support Guildford residents have shown to the affected traders along James St. Thank you to Matt, Manager of Waste at the City of Swan who visited today and is providing valuable assistance in dealing with the cleanup.
The photos below are what’s left of ‘Little As’ Cafe and Trung (Henry) was busy clearing out what remains of his popular cafe. It was pleasing to see the flooring completely intact and the walls in good condition. This is possibly just one positive in what has overall been a devastating event.
Let’s make 2022 something we can all look forward to by continuing the support for our local businesses, to have them back up and running as soon as possible.

This is my favourite angle to take photos of the shop. I loved that beautiful view of the chimney, the little way to view the whole shop to see how far we are in, It’s all in memory now. To say I am devastating is still not enough, I feel I’ve been defeated…I’ve let my little A’s down.

This shop started all because of her, in memory of her. All our little, cute coffee arts (bears, lions, pigs, swans, smiley faces, Sun) was devoted to all kids that affected by cancers in honour of our little A’s. It’s long gone now….our dream is shattered by one unthinkable person.

Thank you everyone to messaged, posted, comments to show us all your supports. We are forever thankful for Guildford community as a whole and all our lovely customers all over Perth for given us the courage, the strength to kept going for the last 1.5 years. Without you, we couldn’t be where we were, without you, we couldn’t give back to the community, without you, we couldn’t help the children that fighting for their lives with cancers even just a very small amounts.

With the uncertainty of the future, we will be struggling, we will be down but we will keep working hard to get back on our feet to be able to come back, to serves you again great coffees, great foods and great service. Thanks to all our beautiful customers, thanks all our hard worked staff to get where we are today. Thank you for being apart of Little A’s family.
