The purpose of creating Very'S plant based eating is simply to introduce the colourful and delicious side of plant based diet to public, no matter what diet you identify yourself with. Here is a small intro:
After finishing UNI and working for a while as a business manager in Czech I decided to move to London. Without a proper knowledge of English I ended up in a small restaurant working as a kitc
hen hand. After a couple of months I was offered a chef position with a promise they will teach me everything. I always loved food and eating so it seemed natural to say yes. I was very lucky to spent those two years with these amazing people there who shared and passed to me their knowledge about creating and cooking fine dinning food. Plus at the time I worked there we were in top 10 restaurants in London. After moving to Australia apart of other great places I worked for Jamie Oliver branch here in Perth or for Vans Cafe at Cottesloe. Before I started with Very'S I was working as a head chef in Perth City Cafe and because of the bonds I made there I was actually able to start my own path. Over all those years I spent in different kitchens, learning and learning, I went through hundreds of thoughts about my food stall. It all started back in London where I fell in love with London's famous street food markets and where I also was preparing our "snack sandwiches" for trips around UK with my friends. Over the time as I grew into a person I am now, my intention of serving great food arose as well. And as I struggled a lot to find fun and delicious plant based place to eat I decided to create one! So here is just a small sneak peek so you could get a better impression. During the whole preparation process we try to do our best to reduce our impact on environment in every possible way. All items on menu are home made apart of the burger buns/sourdough bread. Serving plates and serviettes are either from recycled material or they are compostable or biodegradable. Most of the loose products are purchased in bulk so we reduce our usage of single use plastics and packaging and last but not least where we can we always go for organic quality and local or Australian produce.
