Whipping up some choc chip cookies because that's what the baby wanted🤰🍪 Double choc chip with a sprinkle of flaky salt and a cold glass of milk... absolutely hit the spot.

Pregnancy cravings and honestly, I'm not mad about this one!

I am biased being from NZ when it comes to bakeries 😅 But in saying that, I've been to four so far in Perth that I'd actually rate.

If you're on the hunt for an NZ-style cream donut or some of the best sourdough around, then:

📍Bread Garage Co, Kinross

Their long johns (what we know as cream donuts 🤤) and their spelt sourdough are BOMMMB!! Definitely worth the visit if you're from NZ craving a taste of home.

Postpartum Meal Prep #2 with some breakfast croissants.

These have turkey, spinach, miss balls chutney my fav! + cheese.

We don't waste anything in this whare so I thought what the heck lets use these🥐

TBH Postpartum meal prep was a foreign concept to me. I saw mamas on IG posting meals and thought hey they're on to something! I cant be bothered cooking now, I can only imagine what I'll be like after this pepi arrives lol so here we are. If it makes my life easier I'm here for it.

* Tip: Take out the night before, leave in fridge then toast in a panini press or on the pan before eating. 10/10 e te whānau. Hopefully they last postpartum🥴😂

Dinner when you can't be bothered cooking? This is your sign.

It's not fast to cook, but it's fast to make. Come plate wirh me🤌🏽

I grabbed some lime wings on sale from (my favourite words 🤑), paired them with crispy roast rīwai (potatoes) and a 'use what you've got' fridge salad.

⏱️ About 15 minutes to prep, then it's a set-and-forget oven dinner.

Minimal effort. Everyone's fed. Pregnancy-approved. 🤰🏽

Brekie is one of my fav meals and if I'm paying for it, it better hit the spot! Pleased to say was on point! Such a great price for what you order, prompt service, + delicious! Enjoyed the eggs bennie and they have a cool little side store to browse😊

Let me know your fav brekie spots in Perth👇🏽

If a pic could tell a thousand words, this one would say, "I'm pregnant & can't be bothered cooking right now" 😂 but here we go e te whānau.

Finally got a deep freeze and I'm starting to prep some postpartum meals because I'm that person 🙋🏽‍♀️

Drumsticks are cheap, so I thought I'd do two easy marinades, freeze the bags, and when the time comes, defrost, dump them in a tray and cook with a salad and sides.

I've decided to prep two meals a week. I figure it'll make things a bit easier and put my mind at ease heading into postpartum. One less thing to think about when baby arrives🤍

Any easy postpartum freezer meal ideas? Send them my way 👇🏽

If you're looking for a quick meal for the whānau teriyaki bowls are fast, easy, and feed everyone. My mums gluten free/doesn't eat salmon, my dad will avoid alot of veggies (so I make sure he has heaps), and my husbands on a fitness kaupapa ATM (he had brown rice or I give him cauli rice). Hika ma lol.
Such an easy meal to adjust and mix up. Takes 20mins to cook and feeds these buggers lol.
