The Peoples Produce grows, supplies and sources the best WA grown fruits and vegetables, free range and pastured eggs, honey and locally crafted providore products.

Kensington Pride mangoes at all seven markets this weekend. We thought that deserved the first line 🥭

WA mango season is getting started, and we’ve got a decent supply heading out with the crews. Bring a few home for breakfast, a fruit platter or that very dignified business of eating one over the sink.

We’re also loaded with organic strawberries from Albany, so the fruit bowl is in for a good weekend.

And don’t walk past the new-season spray-free rhubarb. Good-sized stalks, looking lovely, and considerably easier to cook than some people reckon.

Three things we’d do with it:

Granny Smith apple & rhubarb crumble, with butter in the topping and cream on the finished thing.

Roasted rhubarb & strawberries, spooned over yoghurt for breakfast. Also works over ice cream, which is a separate but equally important conversation.

Rhubarb & apple relish, something tangy for roast pork, sausages or a cheese toastie.

Grab a bunch, a few apples and some strawberries. There’s a fair bit of eating in that little shopping list.

We’ve had a few messages from customers who missed out on milk, whole/primal meat cuts and other limited lines.

We’re genuinely sorry when that happens. These products come through in set weekly quantities, and we can’t always get more before the run.

11am Tuesday is the ordering deadline, but some products sell out earlier. Get the things you’re counting on ordered first 🙌

📦 PLEASE SEND OUR PACKAGING HOME

The cost of boxes, ice packs, egg cartons, punnets and our newly arriving thermal meat liners keeps climbing.

We don’t want to keep passing those increases on to you, so we’re asking everyone to help us get more uses from the packaging we already have.

Please return your reusable packaging clean, dry, undamaged and in good condition. Keep boxes dry and uncrushed, and don’t forget the ice packs!

One box might not seem like much, but across our community it adds up enormously. Fewer replacements to buy, less packaging thrown away, and a little less pressure on the cost of your weekly shop 🙏🌱
