🏆 Last Friday at the 2026 Perth Royal Food Awards marked another year celebrating WA’s Best Dairy. It was a great night catching up with fellow artisan producers (👋 , ) and friends in food (, , and ).

🏆Awards & Recognition:
We were so proud to receive 3x GOLD Medals, 1x SILVER Medal and also crowned CHAMPION Butter for our Spreadable Butter this year.

The Story Behind the Spreadable:
This was particularly touching because the Spreadable Butter was the very first butter Kylie made at home all those years ago back in 2012. What started out as a little dollop for our own personal use turned into a full blown butter company that’s now recognised as some of the best butter around. We’re delighted that it’s getting the recognition it deserves, not just for the quality and taste but for the appreciation of using real olive oil rather than unnatural seed oils that other producers might opt for simply because it’s more profitable.

🫒 The Spreadable Butter truly is “crafted for those who know the difference.”

🙌 Massive congratulations to Bannister Downs Dairy who received (three!) CHAMPION trophies this year too for their:

🥛 Non-Homogenised Milk
🍒 Choc Cherry Delite, and
🐮 Delicious Cream (the very same cream Kylie’s been using since Day #1!)

👩‍⚖️ Judging:
Special thanks to Chief Judge, Roz Garstone for her stewardship of this years awards too (and many years past). For those who are interested check out the scoring criteria for what makes a Gold, Silver and Bronze product - it’s not simply a “1st, 2nd and 3rd Best” as many believe - products have to meet a threshold of quality which can result in no medals being awarded if not met.
