ess than 2 weeks notice, the full deposit will not be refunded. if a cake is cancelled with one month or more notice, $25 of the refund will be kept to cover admin costs. If a cake is cancelled with more than a months notice,.a full refund of the deposit will be given at the discretion of cakeaway. it is always recommended that delivery is required of cakes that are two tiers or over. if a customer decides to transport their own cake of this size, every care will be taken to ensure the cake is completely secure as much as possible, and instructions will be verbally given on transportation, supports and storage on collection. However, cakes are a food item, and therefore perishable. It is the complete responsibility of the customer to transport the cake, and to store the cake. Once the cake is taken from the property, no responsibility is on cakeaway for the condition of the cake from that point forward.
