News!
After 2 years of running the farm at a larger scale together with Liam, we are now
going back to a smaller garden with me, Heather being the main solo farmher 👩🌾and Liam has gone back to his first passion, geology!
Running a small business is never an easy task, running a small farm business
growing veg comes with its own set of challenges, we gave it a really good go,
worked so much our bodies and minds sang us a song of “hey you! can you please
slow down, ya movin’ too fast” we loved everything we were creating
and building along the way, but our limits were reached at the end of 2024.
So, after a couple months of trying some new things, I have made the very hard and
sad decision to close the online shop for all orders, including the veg boxes.
Instead, I will attend 2 local farmers markets, Darlington (twice/month) and Chidlow
(once/month).
I will continue to source and supply the market stall with produce
from our garden, local suppliers & include what organics are available from Perth’s wholesale market.
We are incredibly grateful for all the support from each and every customer... it means so much to us, without you none of it would have been possible!

My passion still lies in the soil, growing an abundance of food to feed ourselves and
the local community. The Lunarise gardens and business have had several pivotal
points over the years where a new direction has been taken and again this is one of
those moments.
There is excitement building with ideas floating around me, ready to grasp! but a rest and reset comes first including a reconnection with joy and purpose. To keep you in the loop some inspirations brewing include, a vibrant and diverse array of nourishing veg (of course!), a deep dive into biodynamics and the universal cycles, more seeds, flowers & medicinals, community education and more sharing.

Where the path will lead, I really don’t know but there will be yummy veg grown in living and loved soils! ✨✨✨🌈🌻
