Every pearl strand tells a different story.

While all cultured pearl strands are beautiful, the value of a strand is determined by the Five Pearl Virtues: size, shape, colour, lustre and surface.

Some strands showcase greater consistency across all five virtues, with pearls that are exceptionally well matched in colour, shape, size and lustre, while also displaying cleaner surfaces. These pearls are rarer to find and can take years to assemble into a single strand.

Other strands celebrate the natural individuality of pearls, with subtle variations that create their own unique character and beauty.

The difference is not about one being better than another. It is about rarity, matching and the remarkable journey of finding pearls that belong together.

Understanding the Five Pearl Virtues helps you appreciate the craftsmanship behind every strand and find the one that speaks to you.

Not all gemstones are created equal, and pearls prove it. 💎

Australian Saltwater pearls are among the rarest gems in the world. Only a small fraction of those harvested each season reach gem quality, making them genuinely precious. Our Broken Bay Pearl Farm and Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm grown pearls can take years to cultivate, and the result is something truly extraordinary.

✨ Did you know June's most beloved birthstone isn't mined from the earth at all?

The pearl is the only gemstone formed within a living organism, created slowly inside our pearl shell, layer by layer, over years. No cutting. No polishing. Just nature doing its finest work.

It's no wonder pearls have come to symbolise wisdom, inner growth and new beginnings. A gem that takes time to become beautiful is one worth wearing for a lifetime. 🌊

Born in June? You couldn't have a more unique birthstone. 🤍

This June, we're celebrating the Month of the Pearl by sharing the story of one of the rarest treasures a pearl farm can create...a pearl strand ✨🦪

A single pearl is remarkable.

A strand is something else entirely.

From tens of thousands of oysters come thousands of pearls. From those pearls, only a select few may have the size, shape, colour and lustre needed to sit alongside one another in a strand.

Sometimes it takes years. Sometimes decades.

Every pearl must be carefully matched. Every decision matters. And once a pearl is drilled to go into a strand, there is no going back.

Throughout June, we'll take you behind the scenes of the journey from oyster to heirloom, sharing the craftsmanship, patience and generations of knowledge that make a pearl strand possible.

Welcome to the Month of the Strand! ✨

Every cultured pearl begins the same way, but no two finish alike ✨

As they begin to grow beneath the water's surface, each one is shaped by its environment. The tides and time leave their mark, with subtle variations that tell a deeper story of how that pearl came to be.

These pearl strands celebrate those stories. Each pearl is unique, chosen for its character and its surface a record of Mother Nature's influence on these precious gems.
