This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our New Zealand friends from Antonia | Pure New Zealand Grown Blue Pearls to our head office to meet the team and hand-select Australian South Sea Mabe pearls, grown at our Australia's Pearling Pioneers for their next collaborative jewellery creations.

Bringing together our Australian South Sea Mabe pearls with their beautiful New Zealand Pāua shell Mabé pearls, this collaboration celebrates two unique shell species, two remarkable marine environments and a shared passion for creating something truly special.

With Pearls and Plates happening this weekend, we’re especially excited to have Arapawa Blue Pearls as part of the story, connecting pearl producers across Australasia.

A beautiful reminder that while our pearls come from different waters, there’s so much we can create together. 🦪🤍

With our 2026 Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm complete, our team at our Perth Studio are still hard at work carefully grading each Australian South Sea pearl, assessing its lustre, shape, size, colour and surface.

No two pearls are ever the same, and each one of the reflection of the dedication and time that goes into our pearling process.

Keshi pearls are some of the most unique pearls to come from a harvest, and no two are ever the same.

A few fun facts Penny is sharing about these beautiful pearls:

🤍 Keshi pearls form without a nucleus, giving them their wonderfully organic shapes - the closest to a natural pearl

🤍 They’re made entirely of nacre, which often gives them an incredible lustre

🤍 Their shapes, textures and colours are completely individual

🤍 When brought together in a pearl strand, every Keshi tells a slightly different part of the harvest story, often combining pearls from multiple harvests due to the rarity of Keshi pearls

Each harvest reveals something new, and Keshi pearls are a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most unexpected pearls are the ones with the most character.
