I am an independent Thermomix Consultant in Perth WA. I have had a Thermomix since 2012, and I haven't looked back. I have two- 'Mick' (TM31) and 'Minnie' (T5). The Thermomix chops, beats, whips, mills, kneads, minces, grates, juices, blends, heats, stirs, steams and weighs food. It has earned the title as the 'worlds smallest, smartest kitchen'. d money and cook fabulous healthy, tasty food for my family and friends. I use a the Thermomix up to six times per day because of their versatility and ability to do so many things. My earliest cooking memory is me, around the age of five, sitting under the breakfast bar, 'cooking' a cake and adding what seemed to be bottles and bottles of vanilla essence to it, to make it yum! I also have fond memories of baking scones with my Mum, and I still use the recipe today, but I have converted it to a Thermomix recipe of course! I get a great sense of satisfaction from cooking for my family and friends, and using Mick in the process. My aim is to inspire and invigorate your passion for packet-free cooking. When you have a Thermomix, you don't need processed products; you can make your own in no time, and food tastes so much better. I will also be posting recipes, tips, answering your Thermomix questions and providing care advice for your 'Mick' or ' Minnie'. TACO SEASONING...

If you like tacos and haven't tried making your own seasoning, you must! You will never buy a taco packet from the supermarket again. I also make my own salsa when we have tacos, which I will post at a later date.
This makes a big batch of seasoning.

You can also use this as a seasoning for other dishes, one of which I will post later today.

-Toast 4 tbs cumin seeds.
-4mins/Varoma/spd 2.
-Add 30g White Rice.
-Mill 1min/ spd 10.
-Add 4 tbs Dried Shallots,4tbs Dried Oregano, 4 tbs Dried Marjoram, 2 tbs Dried Garlic Granules, 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper and 4 Salt.
-Mill 1 min/spd 9.
-Store in an airtight jar in the cupboard.

I add 2-4 tbs of seasoning a sautéed onion and to 500g browned beef mince, 1 finely chopped carrot, and 1 finely chopped tomato when making tacos.

If tacos are on your menu often, once you try this, you won't go back!
