Of all the collaborations I did during my time abroad, our time at Wonderwoods by Ephemera was without a doubt, the most magical โœจ๏ธ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒพ

Just 35 minutes from Central Paris and 10 minutes from Disneyland Paris, Wonderwoods is one of seven immersive restaurants created by across France. ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

Blending whimsical storytelling with a dreamlike dining experience, it felt like stepping straight into a fairytale - and it was everything my inner child needed. โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ซ

๐Ÿ˜ญ It took me 10+ years to tick it off, but I did it ๐Ÿฅน

Just under four hours drive from Paris, resides the breathtaking French island and UNESCO World Heritage Site Mont Saint-Michel ๐Ÿค

It's the direct inspiration for the royal kingdom in the 2010 animated film Tangled, and we were lucky to visit when the tide was low, because sometimes the tide is so high, it covers the only bridge that connects it to the mainland. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

The medieval abbey that sits on the top is over 1000 years old and open to the public from โ‚ฌ13 per person (low season). It's free for everyone under 18, and they accept the Australian Companion Card here too (so one adult enters free).๐Ÿ˜Š

You will hit at least 10K steps here, I promise ๐Ÿ˜… So good walking shoes and walking clothes is compulsory. It is unfortunately not pram or wheelchair accessible, and heads up: all bathrooms here are unisex. ๐Ÿซ 

But I didn't mind. For over ten years, I've had Mont Saint-Michel on my travel bucketlist ๐Ÿฅน

What an absolute joy to be able to tick this off and see this absolutely beautiful site in person with my whole family ๐Ÿค
