What a weekend. ❤️✨

Thank you to the Maleny Show for having us — it was truly a pleasure to be part of such a fantastic community event.

Despite our team not being 100% operational this weekend, the support we received absolutely blew us away. We sold out of almost everything, served so many beautiful people, and once again were reminded why we started this journey in the first place.

There’s something incredibly special about watching people try Polish street food for the very first time, seeing families come back for seconds, and hearing “this is amazing” over and over again all weekend. ❤️

And to top it all off… packing up the trailer under the fireworks felt like the perfect ending to an unforgettable show. 🎆

Thank you Maleny for the love, the patience, the smiles, and the support.
We’ll definitely remember this one. ♥️✨

Some dreams really do come true ✨

This weekend, PolkaDot Polish Food is heading to the Dog Lovers Event at the Brisbane Showgrounds for a busy weekend… and honestly, it feels a little surreal. ❤️

What makes this moment so special is that the whole idea of PolkaDot was actually born right here at Brisbane Showgrounds back in 2024. We were walking through one of Brisbane’s biggest music festivals, surrounded by the atmosphere, the lights, the crowds, the excitement… and something just clicked.

We remember looking around and thinking:“What if one day WE could be here too?”“What if people could line up to try Polish food they’ve never seen before?”“What if we could build something colourful, different and truly ours?”

At the time it felt like a big dream. Maybe even a crazy one.

Fast forward to now — we built the trailer, created the menu, spent endless nights preparing, travelled from market to market, met incredible people, had amazing days, hard days, moments of doubt, and moments where customers reminded us exactly why we started.

And now we’re coming back to Brisbane Showgrounds — not as visitors this time, but as vendors. 🥹🇵🇱

For a small local business this really means the world.

Thank you to every single person who supported us so far, shared a post, bought a zappy, told a friend about us, or simply believed in us. You helped make this dream real.
