On a rainy day it’s a lovely surprise to see the bees hard at work. You can clearly see their little pollen baskets fully loaded with yellow pollen. I think they must be from the sunflowers blooming in the garden.

These are my four legged tractors. They are busy turning the soil over in search of roots and grubs which would otherwise compete with,and eat my potato crop. At the same time they are spreading their nutrient laden dung and urine. Once they have finished I’ll plant a crop of potatoes.

Having lost both our potato crops to floods last year, it's great to see this seasons potatoes flowering and looking very lush.

We have 2 school excursion spots available for potato harvesting on the 1 and 22 June. Tag your school as these spots won't last long.

As we wrap up 2025, we are humbled by the continued support for our school programs. This year we welcomed over 1500 students to the farm and shared practical knowledge and skills about healthy eating, agriculture, science and environmental sustainability.

Our 3 amigos Otto, Ruby and Rosie, would like to thank everyone who has purchased a ticket to our Farm Picnic this Sunday. We have now raised $750 for Jenny's Place Domestic Violence & Homeless Support.

We would love to get to our fundraising target of $1500. So if you haven't purchased your ticket yet, hopefully these 3 cuties will help persuade you!
