Picton Wholesale Meats We are a Wholesale Meat Company, specialising in Beef, Pork & Veal. The company is based out of Western Sydney Meat Worx at Picton NSW.

We sell 150-200 week, so we are in a great position to give our customers the article they need for their shop. My father Charlie Hitchings started the business in 1965. It was originally based out of Homebush. We moved to our current location in Picton back in 2002. Picton is in a great location, only a short drive into Sydney. This means our beef arrives in the shops in very good condition. We are also lucky in the fact that Western Sydney Meat Worx, has the best-finished articles, when it comes to beef, the finished product is spot on. The company purchases 150-200 head per week. To do this we need to have buyers purchasing cattle for us out of many different auctions throughout NSW. Camden, Moss Vale, Nowra, Singleton, Maitland, Wagga Wagga, Yass, Braidwood, Mudgee and also direct from local farmers. We push hard to get our customers the best beef that is out there any given week. Charlie taught me years ago that yield is what we want. The high yielding cattle always work out best for us & the butchers. They pay a little more for them, but quickly learn that the extra money spent is returned in two ways, more meat & a better product.
