Shout out to a little local legend! 11-year-old Owen has been supporting the McGrath Foundation for a number of years by selling pink themed lolly bags to raise vital funds for McGrath Cancer Care Nurses. The team at IGA Bunyip were wondering why their pink lolly supplies were running low but when they found out about Owen’s awesome story, they donated a $500 gift voucher to put towards his 2026 fundraising efforts.

Today marks the beginning of IGA and the McGrath Foundation's annual Community Chest campaign. To support this great cause, shop products in-store marked with a Community Chest ticket until September 29th.

Great to inspire the next generation against the silent killer

A great initiative from some locals in Pitt Town supporting the Mark Hughes Foundation via our local IGA Local Grocer Pitt Town . Our local IGA is a huge support of our little community at all times.
They support all local events and have been a lifeline for locals especially during lockdown and numerous floods.
They are regular supporters of Hawkesburys Helping Hands and I know they quietly assist others too.
Right now they could do with some support themselves and as regular supporters of the Mark Hughes Foundation for them unfortunately, this time, it’s personal. Get along to Max’s store and buy some fresh local produce or pop into our IGA and buy a beanie and help support a family that has done so much for the local community.
