🍷 WINE MYTH MONDAY

Red wine should always be served at room temperature… right?

Not necessarily.

That advice made a little more sense when “room temperature” meant a chilly European stone house — not an Australian home sitting at 24°C. 😂

A slightly cooler red can be beautifully refreshing, particularly as the weather warms up.

So yes… you officially have permission to pop that red in the fridge for a little while before opening it.

Today we’re raising a glass to the man, the myth, the legend — Ross!

Wine boss, storyteller, problem solver, vineyard worker, cellar door entertainer, occasional forklift operator… and apparently hedge trimmer extraordinaire. 😂

There aren’t too many jobs around Ernest Hill that Ross hasn’t tackled over the years — usually with a story to tell, a laugh to share and, somewhere nearby, a decent bottle of wine.

His passion, hard work and larger-than-life personality are a huge part of what makes Ernest Hill what it is today.

So please join us in wishing our fearless leader a very Happy Birthday! 🥳🍷

Happy Father’s Day from Ernest Hill Wines! 🍷💙

Today we’re raising a glass to all the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures and everyday legends who deserve a little extra appreciation.

To the dads who taught us things we probably should have listened to the first time, perfected the questionable dad joke, always know the “better way” to do something, and somehow manage to fall asleep in a chair five minutes after sitting down… today’s for you. 😂

We hope your Father’s Day includes good company, plenty of laughs and, of course, a very good bottle of wine. 🍷
