What a great few days judging at the 2026 Clare Valley W**e Show. Back to an old stomping ground with a fantastic crew of locals and out of towners. It’s awesome to see generational change with a keen respect for important vinous history, the Clare is in safe hands with a bright future. Excited to be releasing our aged Charteris magnums this coming long weekend. They deserved a perfect home, so for us there was only one choice: the Liebherr Professional WFbli 5241 Perfection. It has state of the art cooling, individual temperature control, and an electronic PIN lock keeping sticky fingers out (looking at you, PJ 👀) The design is seamless & a beautiful addition to our little cellar door.

A small number of seats remain for our W**emaker’s Dinner at Mode Restaurant, Four Seasons Hotel Sydney on Friday, 18th September.

Executive Chef Gaurav Bide has built a five course menu for the evening, its centerpiece a foie gras and truffle course not to be missed, match throughout with a selection of PJ‘s Single Vineyard w**es.

An intimate room, a serious kitchen, and w**es poured by the man who made them.

Oysters In The House is coming to a full day celebrating two of NSW’s greatest culinary icons: the Sydney Rock Oyster and Hunter Valley Semillon.

PJ will be hosting The Perfect Pairing masterclass, exploring why these two are one of the great matches in Australian food and w**e. Alongside his great mate, the brilliant John Susman AO leads Deep Dive into Merroir, a fascinating look at how where an oyster grows shapes everything about how it tastes.

Add in live shucking from the legendary Giannaros brothers, the finest Semillon producers in the state, a martini pop-up, and a kitchen firing on all cylinders, it’s going to be a very good day.
