Located on the picturesque Brokenback Vineyard at the foot of the Brokenback Range, our Cellar Door is the perfect place to enjoy what makes Leogate Estate truly special - great wines produced from Old Vines situated one of the best regarded vineyards in Australia, originally planted by the late Len Evans A.O MBE. VINEYARD
Brokenback Vineyard is situated on Broke Road at the heart of Pokobin in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. The Vineyard was planted in the mid to late 1970's by the late Len Evans AO, MBE. Over the ensuing years the vines have produced premium wines which have been sold under a variety of labels. By the time Bill and Vicki Widin purchased Brokenback Vineyard in 2008, the vineyard had been divided into two separately-owned portions. Both portions became available for purchase privately and were re-united under the Leogate banner.
