Boronia Holsteins & Jerseys is a Family owned Dairy Farm belonging to the Goode Family of Poowong North.

Our aim is to achieve high standards of type and production, with a major focus on international and Australian cow families.

We took 4 heifers to the Gippsland Dairy Youth Show yesterday. The girls all had a great day parading their heifers around.

Rachael placed 2nd in her handler class & 4th in the Heifer born on 01/07/2025 - 31//08/2025 class with Lightning Ridge TR Victorious Toffee 1-ET

Katherine placed 5th in her handler class & 2nd in the Heifer born on 01/07/2025 - 31//08/2025 class with Boronia Glen Master Katrysha-ET

Chelsea placed 5th in her handler class & 2nd in the Heifer born on or after 01/11/2025 with Boronia Ridge Victorious Fernleaf.

Charlotte placed 1st in the Heifer born on 01/09/2025 - 31/10/2025 then went on to take out Reserve Champion Junior Heifer with Boronia Glen Hastoric Tantrum-ET-RED

What an amazing journey this has been so far!

We never in our wildest dreams imagined that when we purchased the Schulte Bros Tequila Shot-ET x Victorious Embryos from Budjon’s IDW embryo sale a few years ago, that we would be producing the next IDW Interbreeds Junior Champion! It has definitely been an amazing ride, from her first show at the Gippsland Dairy Youth show with our Daughter Katherine leading her (also Katherine’s first show) to Dairy Week with Brad on the halter taking out Junior Interbreed Champion, it has been a dream come true.

Thank you to Brad and Jess Gavenlock, without your dedication and commitment to perfection this would not have been possible!

Last but not least we would like to thank Declan Pattern and Maddie Totman for taking an interest in Shot and purchasing a 1/2 share, we look forward to sharing Shots future successes with you.

Shot has been a favorite from the moment she hit the calf sheds, impressing me with her looks and attitudeat every Turn, we first showed her at the Gippsland youth show where my daughter Katherine fell in love with her!

From there we knew she was destined for greater things so sent her up to Brad & Jess Gavenlock to prep her for IDW.
