sharing a fabulous picnic lunch on the terrace on a balmy summer’s day. Or perhaps you might choose to stay on our estate and indulge yourself in mountain views whilst soaking in your private outdoor bath after a day of exploring the mountains. Last week we hit pause on the vineyard, winery, weddings and events for our annual "end-of-year in the middle-of-the-year" staff celebration.
We dusted off a few treasures from the cellar, opened some back vintages, shared beautiful food and swapped plenty of stories from the season that was. It was a chance for our team to sit back, relax and enjoy our wines the same way so many of our guests and members do.
There’s something pretty special about revisiting old bottles and seeing how they've evolved over time and perhaps even more special when they're enjoyed alongside great company.
The evening did take a slightly unexpected turn into karaoke territory, and after extensive research we can officially confirm that Feathertop wines pair exceptionally well with a power ballad, questionable dance moves and a microphone.
A wonderful night celebrating an incredible team and another memorable season at Feathertop.
