When we first moved here , just over 4 years ago there was not one worm in the garden and the insect life was minimal . A consequence of 20 + years of chemical use and synthetic fertilisers. The change to natural practices was implemented immediately but of course like a lot of good things it took awhile to see the benefits.
I have been chasing a pic of this beautiful butterfly , which is the size of a small bird for about 12 months and this morning the universe delivered , right at our back door.
We are so proud of our little ecosystem and watching all of natures creatures return .
