We are a family-owned & run vineyard producing boutique, single-vineyard wines. Visit us by appointment. Find us on Google and Apple Maps.

We are open to the public twice/year; on the Sunday of the March & September long weekends.

Can you help?
We’re looking for an old shearing shed, run-down worker’s cottage, or an old shed with character, to transform into our cellar door. 🐑
If you (or someone you know) has one sitting unused, we’d love to hear from you! It doesn’t need to be in pristine condition. We’ll handle the dismantling and removal, and you’ll earn lifetime VIP status. 🍷

It's nearly that time of year again! The first Shepherd's Hut Open Day for 2026 is on the 1st of March. For those of you who haven't made it to one of these before - you're missing out! Expect a lovely, casual day of wine tasting, live music, excellent food and whole-family fun.

The progression of Pinot Noir.
It's quite common for our Pinot Noir to have a lot of secondary, much later bunches (like the one on the left). At this time of year, we walk through the rows, cutting these off so the vines can focus all of their energy on the fruit that will actually ripen in time for vintage. 🍷

We are so grateful for our loyal Shepherd's Hut community. We hope you found some time over the festive season to rest and enjoy the company of people you love. We enjoyed time with family, visited some of our gorgeous local beaches and did some non-vineyard jobs for once! Bring on 2026. Shepherd's Hut's very first sparkling wine is here! We are beyond excited about it. Please join us at Majuba Bistro on 18th December 2025 to try our inaugural Blanc de Blanc, alongside prawn cocktails and antipasto. Oysters are also available for those that are partial to them!

It’s Shepherd’s Hut in water colour! How talented is .w ! Frequent helper at events, artist, comedian, legal adviser and loyal wine drinker, we’re lucky to have her. 🎨 👧🏼 🍷

Spring is underway at Shepherd’s Hut! Here is some of our beautiful crimson clover in flower. We planted this as part of a cover crop to naturally increase the nitrogen in our soil (nitrogen = good food for vines), encourage beneficial insects and grow our biodiversity. ☘️ 🐞 💚

The long weekend will soon be upon us! There is plenty happening at Shepherd's Hut, so please be sure to come out and visit.

On SATURDAY, 27th September: we have our Paint & Sip collaboration with local artist Bronte Wilkes - that's on Saturday 27th September from 1pm-4pm. Tickets available on Humanitix: https://events.humanitix.com/paint-and-sip-in-the-vines

On SUNDAY, 28th September: we have our second (and last) open day for 2025 from 11am-4pm. Bring the family and come and hang out at Shepherd's Hut! Taste our wines, enjoy some live music with the Jonelle Grochowski Duo and grab a bite to eat from Shaka Dumplings Bar.
