Ready to take the next step in hospitality?
Hemingway’s Brewery Port Douglas is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our FOH team as a Casual Restaurant Team Leader.
You might already be leading shifts, or you might be the bartender, waiter or F&B attendant everyone relies on when service gets busy and you’re ready for more responsibility.
We’re not expecting you to walk in on Day One and run the show.
We’ll teach you our venue, systems and standards. As you build confidence, you’ll take on more responsibility, including leading routine services and, once fully trained, opening or closing the venue independently.
For the right person, there’s also a genuine pathway to progress into a Restaurant Supervisor role.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
• Award casual base rate + applicable penalty rates
• Hands-on FOH leadership experience
• Proper training before you’re expected to lead independently
• Potential progression to Restaurant Supervisor
• A locally owned, independent FNQ brewery
• A waterfront workplace at Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina, Port Douglas
We’re looking for someone with solid hospitality experience who is reliable, calm under pressure, confident without the ego and happy to jump in wherever the team needs them.
