🌙 New Moon Blessings, beautiful community.

As we welcome this New Moon, I’m sending love from our beautiful oceanside home on the Eyre Peninsula.

Yesterday, our community celebrated 10 years of Coastal Care, with around 180 people coming together to plant trees at Puwanna (Greenly), a special place where many of us surf, walk, gather, and connect. It was heartwarming to spend the day caring for the coastline alongside so many people who love this place.

I enjoyed watching members of our community surf, sharing time with loved ones, and being outdoors amongst the fresh winter air.

Last night, I attended a beautiful candlelit Yin Restoration session at .wellness.studio.ep by with my daughter-in-law here in Port Lincoln. Surrounded by women, we settled into stillness and rest through a gentle Yoga Nidra meditation. It was a lovely reminder of the importance of slowing down and creating space to simply be.

As we enter this new lunar cycle, I am feeling grateful for community, connection, nature, and the changing seasons.

Wishing you all a gentle, nourishing, and abundant New Moon.

Blessings,
Ngahuia 🌿🤍

✨ Sunday Guidance ✨

🤍 Divine Timing
Trust that what is meant for you is unfolding at exactly the right pace. There is no need to rush. What is yours cannot pass you by.

✨ Divine Guidance
Pay attention to the whispers of your intuition, the signs around you, and the nudges from your heart. You are being lovingly guided towards your next step.

🌿 Trust
Trust yourself. Trust the journey. Trust that even when the path is unclear, life is working in your favour and supporting your growth.

🌙 Ritual
This evening, place your hands on your heart and take three slow breaths. Ask: “What am I being guided to trust right now?” Sit quietly, listen, and write down whatever comes through without judgement.

🤍 Guidance Card Reading 🤍

Which card are you drawn to today?

Left • Middle • Right

Take a breath, soften your gaze, and choose the card that resonates with you in this moment.

Allow yourself to sit with your choice throughout the day and notice what arises.

✨ I will be revealing the messages and guidance behind each card at 4pm today, offering you an opportunity to reflect, journal, or meditate with the guidance as we move into the evening.

With love,

Ngahuia 🤍

✨ Exciting things are unfolding ✨

I’m feeling incredibly grateful to be holding a bespoke Business Retreat next month for an extraordinary female entrepreneur and her team, who will be travelling across from Whyalla to join us here in Port Lincoln.

~

There is something so powerful about businesses choosing to pause, step away from the day-to-day, and intentionally invest in their people, their vision, and their culture.

~

This retreat has been thoughtfully designed to support connection, reflection, wellbeing, and future visioning as they move into a new financial year together.

~

I’m delighted that our beautiful yogi, Ashleigh , will be joining us to offer grounding and restorative practices, creating space for the team to slow down, reconnect, and arrive fully present.

~

We’ll also be gathering at the beautiful Port Lincoln Hotel, whose welcoming spaces, catering, and accommodation make it such a wonderful destination for teams travelling from across the region. Having everything in one location allows participants to feel supported, comfortable, and fully immersed in the retreat experience.

~

Creating and facilitating these conversations with creative entrepreneurs is something I genuinely love. Witnessing teams strengthen their connections, celebrate their achievements, and gain clarity for the journey ahead is always a privilege.

~

As we move into the new financial year, I’m looking forward to opening more opportunities for businesses and organisations seeking meaningful team experiences that nurture wellbeing, connection, leadership, and collective vision.

~

Thank you to this beautiful business owner for trusting me to hold this space for her team. I can’t wait to welcome you all.

✨ Hello Dear Community ✨

I’ve welcomed many new people into this space recently, so I thought it was time to introduce myself.

Here are 10 things about me:

1. My name is Ngahuia, and I am originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, now calling the beautiful Eyre Peninsula home.
2. I am a mama, wife, grandmama, soul sister, ceremonialist, retreat facilitator, celebrant, and community advocate.
3. The ocean has been one of my greatest teachers, offering lessons in resilience, surrender, joy, and connection.
4. I believe community is one of the most powerful forms of healing and belonging.
5. I love gathering people together around food, conversation, ceremony, and connection.
6. I have lived and worked in beautiful places, from islands and coastlines to community spaces, and each one has taught me something about belonging, culture, and the importance of caring for one another.
7. Some of my happiest moments are simple ones — a warm hug, a sunrise walk, meaningful conversation, or sitting around a fire beneath the stars.
8. Nature, ritual, mindfulness, and daily practices of gratitude are woven into both my life and my work.
9. I helped lead the journey to have Fishery Bay recognised as a Surfing Reserve, protecting a place that means so much to our community and future generations.
10. Above all, I believe life is about connection — to ourselves, each other, our communities, and the natural world around us.

Thank you for being here. Whether you’ve arrived through a retreat, a ceremony, community work, the ocean, or simply by chance, I’m grateful our paths have crossed.

I’d love to know — where are you joining me from, and what drew you here?

With gratitude,

Ngahuia 🌿💛

PS// I’ve recently buzzed my fro and I need some updated photos of this new situation! 😂🌼

🌿 Recipes from the Lakshmi Kitchen 🌿

One of the most loved ingredients from our retreat weekend was undoubtedly ghee.

Many of our retreat sisters enjoyed it throughout the weekend, whether stirred into warm meals, added to nourishing treats, or shared as part of simple kitchen rituals. Revered in Ayurvedic traditions for centuries, ghee is often known as “liquid gold” and is a beautiful way to bring warmth, nourishment, and intention into everyday life.

As promised, I thought I would share the simple ghee recipe we discussed, along with one of our favourite retreat treats.

✨ Homemade Ghee
• 500g unsalted butter
• Gently simmer for 20–30 minutes until golden
• Strain into a clean glass jar
• Store at room temperature or refrigerated

✨ Lakshmi’s Sweet Date Delight
• 1 Medjool date
• 1 tsp ghee
• Cinnamon
• Crushed walnuts
• Optional rose petals

Fill the date with ghee, sprinkle with cinnamon, top with walnuts, and enjoy slowly with a cup of herbal tea or cacao.

🌸 Ways I Love to Use Ghee
• In morning cacao
• Through porridge
• Cooking vegetables
• In soups and stews
• On sourdough with cinnamon and honey

May these simple kitchen rituals continue the nourishment of our retreat weekend.

With love from the Lakshmi Kitchen ✨

This time last week🌸

A huge congratulations to for such an awesome community event. Celebrating their ten years in community service and planting trees to restore balance on the dunes of Puwanna Mt Greenly.

Grateful to all the organisers and the epic crew that make good things happen and bringing us together.

Here’s a few snaps of the evening with MC sister and crew.
I especially like the last photo looking at my love knowing exactly what he’s saying with his eyes…. Watch what you’re doing and don’t drop that!

Such a privilege to officiate the marriage ceremony of people you absolutely adore and deeply respect 🤍

~

Celebrating Andy + Clare this month at the beautiful Tulka House, surrounded by their closest family and friends, was truly special. A whole week of love, connection, laughter, incredible food and beautiful wine — and to be welcomed into those moments midweek and stand alongside them in ceremony is something I hold close to my heart.

~

These two are genuinely some of the best humans. The way they show up for community, the spaces they hold, the culture they create through hospitality, friendship and business… it’s felt by so many. They’ve been part of countless milestones and celebrations for others, and it was such an honour to witness and officiate one of theirs.

~

Hand on heart, what a privilege.

Wishing my dear friends the happiest ever after. We are so grateful for all that you both give to this community and beyond ✨🤍
