Walking With Bhairavī

~

To walk with Bhairavī is to become a faithful keeper of the inner flame// words by my beautiful sister and teacher as we move into our fifth night of Gupta Navarātri

~

“The spiritual path is not built through occasional moments of inspiration, but through the quiet rhythm of returning.”

For me, this is a reminder that consistency is the heart of devotion.

~

It is not always the extraordinary moments that shape us most, but the quiet commitment to return each day — to the breath, to the mantra, to prayer, and to the Divine Mother.

~

Some days practice feels effortless; other days it feels ordinary. Yet each sincere return is an offering. Each moment of remembrance gently shapes the heart in ways we may not yet see.

~

I am learning to trust the rhythm of returning.
Again.
And again.
And again.

With love,
Ngahuia 🤍

🤍Soulful Sunday Book Inspirations 🤍

~

Today’s practice in with our teacher had me reflecting on the books that quietly shaped my journey many moons ago. Each arrived at exactly the right time, offering new perspectives on courage, change, purpose, intuition, and presence.

~

📖 Jonathan Livingston Seagull — Richard Bach taught me to follow my own path.

🧀 Who Moved My Cheese? — Spencer Johnson reminded me that change is where growth begins.

🌵 The Alchemist — Paulo Coelho inspired me to trust the journey and listen to my heart.

✨ The Celestine Prophecy — James Redfield opened me to synchronicity and the magic of meaningful moments.

⚔️ Way of the Peaceful Warrior — Dan Millman showed me that the greatest journey is the one within.

What book has stayed with you through the years? I’d love to hear. 🤍

✨ Hiwa-i-te-Rangi ✨
The star of aspirations.

~

My beautiful whakapapa is Māori, I now have the privilege of living, working, and holding ceremony on the beautiful lands of the Nauo and Barngarla Peoples here on the Eyre Peninsula. This wild coast.

~

As I look up to Matariki, I know I am looking at the same stars my ancestors looked to across Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa.
I have my kuia, my mama in heart as I honour those in wairua.
They remind me that no matter where we are in the world, we remain connected through the sky, our whakapapa, and our shared humanity.

~

Hiwa-i-te-Rangi is the star of hopes, dreams, and aspirations. She gently asks us:

✨ What do you wish to grow?
✨ What are you ready to step into?
✨ What legacy do you want to leave for those who come after you?

~

Matariki invites us to remember those who have gone before us, to give thanks for the abundance in our lives, and to look ahead with intention and purpose.

~

Tonight, I send my aspirations to Hiwa-i-te-Rangi with gratitude—for my whānau, for the communities I am honoured to walk alongside, and for the privilege of living on Nauo and Barngarla Country.

~

May we all have the courage to dream boldly, walk gently, and live with aroha.

I am grateful to have walked alongside our community in this weeks NAIDOC March here in Port Lincoln.

~

It was wonderful to witness the strength, pride and connection that NAIDOC Week brings, and to spend time exploring the beautiful NAIDOC Art Exhibition, celebrating the stories, creativity and voices of First Nations artists. Along with the many community activities taking place throughout the week, it’s a reminder of the importance of coming together to listen, learn and celebrate.

~

This year’s theme, “50 Years of Deadly,” honours five decades of recognising the strength, resilience, achievements and enduring cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

~

As a Māori woman living on beautiful Nauo Country, I hold deep gratitude for the generosity of this place and for the opportunity to live, work and share ceremony here with such an incredible community. I never take for granted the privilege of walking respectfully on Country, learning, building relationships and standing alongside our First Nations brothers and sisters in celebration.

~

May we continue to honour the oldest living cultures in the world—not only this week, but every day.

~

Looking forward to seeing everyone out and about on Country over the next few days.

Celebrating NAIDOC Week.

There is something so deeply grounding about returning home to this coastline.

~

We’ve spent the past week on a beautiful family retreat, slowing down, reconnecting, and soaking in sunsets like this. Every time I watch the sun disappear into the ocean, I’m reminded how incredibly lucky we are to call this place home.

~
Today we return for something very special. I have the honour of officiating a beautiful little girl’s Naming Day. Years ago, I stood beside the sea with her parents as they were married. Later, I had the privilege of welcoming their first daughter into the world with a Naming Day ceremony. And today, surrounded by trees and the love of their whānau, we gather again to celebrate the newest little soul to join their family.

~

Walking alongside families through these milestones is something I never take for granted. It is such a privilege to witness love continue to grow across the years.

~

Wishing you all a beautiful Wednesday. I hope you find a moment today to pause, look up, breathe deeply, and appreciate the magic that surrounds you—wherever you are.

With gratitude from this beautiful coast and community 🧡🧡

Four days in devotion as I’m stepping away on retreat.

~

I’ve been devoted to slowing down, tending gently to my nervous system, and honouring the pace my tinana (body) is asking for right now. Rather than pushing through, I’m choosing to listen.

~

This Matariki season has been a quiet invitation to look towards the stars, reflect on what has been, and nourish my wairua (spirit) alongside our whānau (family).

~

The days ahead will be simple.
Karakia (prayer).
Rest.
Journaling.
Whānau (family) time.
Ocean time.
Long exhalations.
Space to simply be.

~

Feeling deeply grateful for this time to reconnect, replenish, and rest.

2027 Wedding Ceremony Dates Are Now Open

I’m delighted to officially open my 2027 wedding ceremony calendar.

If you’re planning a wedding that is elegant, heartfelt and thoughtfully curated, I’d love to be part of your day. Every ceremony I create is bespoke, reflecting your story with warmth, authenticity and intention.

Based on the beautiful Eyre Peninsula, I proudly work alongside exceptional local venues and talented wedding vendors to create seamless, memorable celebrations. From luxury estates and wineries to coastal settings and private properties, I’m passionate about bringing your vision to life.

I’m also available to travel Australia-wide and would be honoured to celebrate your ceremony wherever your love story takes you.

Throughout the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing the process of planning your day and also beautiful venues and vendors that I feel are the bees knees!

I look forward to crafting and supporting beautiful ceremonies for beautiful people.
