We pulled into The Fresh Fish Place thinking ‘quick lunch stop’ and left wondering if we should just move to the Eyre Peninsula and become professional fish eaters

Fresh local seafood straight from the source — no sad freezer-burnt fish fingers here

If you’re road tripping through Port Lincoln, skip the overpriced tourist traps on the foreshore and head here

Grab lunch, then pick up fresh seafood for the van because cooking local produce on the road beats another two-minute noodle night every time

Traveller Tip: If you’re passing through Port Lincoln, this place is worth timing your day around — they serve lunch/dinner from late morning and it’s also a solid stop before heading to the beaches, Lincoln National Park or Whaler’s Way

Bonus: there’s easy parking for caravans and larger rigs nearby, which isn’t always a given in coastal towns
