🧡 I’ve been trying to write this post all day, but somehow the words just wouldn’t come. ❤️
Maybe because this opening feels different.
There have been delays, family matters, things going wrong and moments when I genuinely questioned whether I should keep going. With everything feeling a little crazy lately, I wondered more than once if the universe was trying to tell me something. 😂🌙
But then I remembered how Forster started.
One day, our customer Matt came into Pho Home and said:
“Vee, we have a great location for you in Forster. Can you open a Pho Home there? People love your food.”
I still remember how excited I felt.
Opening another store takes a lot out of me, but sometimes it only takes one person believing in you to give you that little push outside your comfort zone. ❤️
And I know this isn’t just another shop. It means more jobs, more opportunities for our staff, and another little community for Pho Home to become part of.
So Matt , thank you for planting the Forster seed. Look what you started. 🥹❤️
And thank you to Ben and the beautiful team at Oxley Signs — you’ve been beside Pho Home since our very first store.
No matter which store we open, our signage always looks incredible. Thank you for travelling, prioritising us, dealing with all my crazy last-minute requests 😂 and somehow always bringing the picture in my head to life.
To have people who were there at the beginning still standing beside us as we grow means more than I can explain. ❤️
After everything it took to get here, today we finally opened the doors.
Pho Home Forster is officially OPEN. 🍜❤️
We may not be perfect yet. Our new team is still finding their rhythm, so please be gentle with us.
But the broth is hot, the kitchen is ready and our hearts are full.
Sometimes the difficult road isn’t telling you to stop.
Sometimes you just have to trust, keep going…
and open the damn door. 🥹❤️
