District of CASA of NSW Inc. Local Cake decorating group within the Port Macquarie region We meet at 1pm on the third Sunday of each month in Port Macquarie.

Contact the Secretary for further information. A short meeting, followed by a demonstration by one of our members is usually the format of each meeting.

Wow, what a herd of beautiful and individual sugar dinosaurs made by our terrific group of sugarcrafters today. Each one unique. Well done to everyone especially our junior crafters.
Thank you for such a fun day and congratulations on making these cuties a huge success. Hope everyone enjoyed the day and will join us again next time when we will making something a little more challenging but just as adorable.

What an absolutely fantastic day we had making this cute monkey cake. So much fun and such a lovely group. Everyone created their own jungle themed cake to take home with brilliant results. Thank you to all for participating, for your enthusiasm and most of all for the laughs. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did.

We are genuinely encouraged by such a successful day to continue planning future events. We are already planning our next project.

Our next mini workshop will be in July where we will be making a cute cake topper. Watch this space for further details.

A special mention to Grace. We'll done, a truly special cake.

For all you creative bakers, or maybe keen to learn how to be, we have a few places left for our cheeky monkey workshop on the 30th May. Come and join us in making this beautiful cute jungle cake. A 4 layer, fully iced and decorated cake to take home.

Learn how to cover a cake in fondant, hand paint using edible colours, mold and sculpture leaves and foliage, make a cute little character to top your design. Skills that can be used again and again to create your own designs at home. Tips and advice from our talented, professional and prize winning cake decorators throughout the day.

All equipment and materials provided including a box to take your creation home in. Morning tea and lunch provided. This is a full and fun day for anyone interested or would like to try their hand at cake decoration. Suitable for beginners to the more experienced.

Cost $165, which includes everything mentioned above. Just bring an apron !

Well this year’s Wauchope Show was another success, especially for the kids! We had 22 high school entries and 6 primary school entries on top of all the other categories.

Everyone really stepped it up this year which was so good to see!
