We’re hiring! Currently looking for casual sales assistants available during the day Monday to Friday. Would suit a school leaver taking a gap year or heading to University in the new year.

Our team is one big family. We all work together, and we are all excited to welcome new members to the team! 💜🎉🥰

Here’s what we’re looking for:
* A cheerful, outgoing, and confident personality 😃
* Good communication skills to interact with customers and fellow team members
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 👩🏼‍🍳
* Availability during busy times like Christmas, Easter, and school holidays—these are our peak periods, and we need everyone on board!

Details for casual positions (School hours):
* Shifts from Monday to Friday
* Minimum 3 hour shifts
* Start times between 7:00 am - 10:30 am
* Finish times between 1:00 pm - 3:00pm
* 15 to 25 hours per week, possibly more for the right person

Don’t throw out those bread crusts! 👀🍟

Turn them into Crispy Parmesan Crust Fries with this easy bread hack! They’re the perfect little snack to make with what you’ve already got in the kitchen - send this to someone who would love these 😍

Ingredients:
• 5-6 slices of leftover Hi-Fibre Lo GI loaf
• 5 tbsp olive oil, drizzled until well coated
• 1/2 cup grated parmesan, divided
• 1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Fresh thyme leaves, to serve
Method:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180°C
Step 2: Add the bread pieces to a large bowl and drizzle over the olive oil, tossing until every piece is well coated. Add the dried thyme, salt, pepper, ⅓ cup of the grated parmesan, then toss again until evenly combined.
Step 3: Spread the bread onto the prepared tray in a single layer. Bake for 8-12 minutes, depending on your oven, or until golden and crispy.
Step 4: Sprinkle over the remaining 1 tbsp grated parmesan and finish with a few fresh thyme leaves before serving

We’re helping raise funds for Australians affected by breast cancer and this weekend, Saturday 23 - Sunday 24 May, is Double Donation Weekend! Across the two days, the donation from every Fun Bun 6 Pack sold will be generously matched by the Gillespie Family Foundation, doubling the impact for BCNA.
We’ll be having a pop up store in centre court Settlement City tomorrow from 9am, come in and grab a delicious sweet treat and feel twice as good knowing your donation will be doubled, for such an amazing cause!

Every year Bakers Delight proudly supports BCNA, and we’re so excited to be part of it again.

For the next two weeks for every Fun Bun sold, 100% of the sale goes directly to Breast Cancer Network Australia, helping support Australians affected by breast cancer and funding vital care, resources and advocacy. BCNA has supported people with breast cancer for over 25 years, your support matters.

Behind every donation is a family or friend whose tomorrow could look different because someone cared today. Want to help us make a difference? Pop in store, grab a pack, and help us support this incredible cause.
