Forgot to share these North Melbourne cupcakes that went out a couple of weeks ago!

I know I said a few weeks back that I would be taking some leave from baking for a few weeks mid auguat - but I am also someone who struggles to say no, as I hate the thought of disappointing my lovely customers.

That being said - I definitely need a break!

I will not be booking orders after this weekend, from the 7th of September, to the 4th of October.
I apologise in advance if I decline your order during this time, but I am well overdue for a bit of a break and my body is absolutely screaming at me to get some rest!

If you need a cake from the 5th of October onwards... Please message me! I will still be responding to messages during this time ☺️

This was my first time EVER trying out a carved cake. A friend came to me and asked I could do it... And I just about had a heart attack 😂 then I thought about it and said to myself.. well, if you don't try these things you'll never learn!!

So I said yes!

Is it perfect? Absolutely not! Is it kinda giving Hei-hei from Moana vibes? A little 😂

But my friend was happy and very understanding about the fact it definitely wasn't perfect, so I was happy!

The point is - trying new things is scary and they're never going to be perfect the first time but unless you try, you'll never grow or learn!
