A warm welcome to Chef Pierrick Boyer, award-winning French pastry chef and founder of Reverie Cafe in Prahran, Culinary Director, Entrepreneur, as the newest member of VIITE’s Academic Governance Board (AGB).

Chef Pierrick brings extensive industry experience and a passion for culinary excellence to VIITE. His expertise will contribute valuable industry perspectives to our academic and hospitality education initiatives.

We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to creating meaningful opportunities for our students to learn from real-world industry expertise.

Tonight, Cooking for Charity gather again at the home of Dr Andrew Barling, to deliver a private dinner in the name of charity. Funds were raised for the Otis Foundation.

It’s a very special evening for Mark Normoyle, Ikuei Arakane, Sarah Maric, Roslyn Foo and myself. We have been working as a team for decades and sadly, two days ago, we lost a founding chef member, Peter Schreiber - our hearts are with his family.

Cooking For Charity started in 2006, this is the 20th year and we are still going. We have honestly lost count of how many millions we have helped raise collectively for various charities. Special thanks to our new member Daniel Lee, and volunteers Paul Tu, Marleen Campbell and Cherry Vuong for joining us.
